A gifted actor, playwright, producer, screenwriter, director, and author, Ossie Davis will be remembered as a trailblazing entertainer. His legacy as an activist and artist will live on through the important gifts he left with us through his contributions on stage and on screen, as well as at rallies, marches, and on picket lines.

While many companies pay lip service to employee relations, Harley-Davidson Motor Company, the heavyweight bike manufacturer, cultural symbol, and Fortune 500 company, has demonstrated a solid commitment to keeping jobs in the United States and valuing the talent and commitment of its employees.

Now in its sixth year, the Student Labor Week of Action has showcased the immense energy, power, and success of college student activism in support of workers' rights campaigns. This national effort to support local and national economic justice campaigns is led by the Student Labor Action Project of Jobs with Justice and the United States Student Association, who work with five partnering organizations: United Students Against Sweatshops, Student/Farmworker Alliance, Not with our Money!, Student Action with Farmworkers, and Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlán.
