Encourages Senators to Approve Secretary of Labor Nominee
WASHINGTON, DC—Today the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions will begin confirmation proceedings for President-elect Obama’s nominee for Secretary of Labor, Representative Hilda Solis (D-CA). American Rights at Work Executive Director Mary Beth Maxwell and Chair David Bonior both called on the Senate to expedite Solis’ confirmation and released the following statements: |
