WASHINGTON, DC—In September 2009, American Rights at Work submitted comments to the U.S. Department of Labor in favor of a rule requiring federal contractors and subcontractors to provide notice to their employees of their rights under the National Labor Relations Act. Today, on news that the U.S. Department of Labor will publish a final rule to this effect, Kimberly Freeman Brown, Executive Director of American Rights at Work, released the following statement:
