Stephen Koslow
Counsel to the Industrial Division of the Communications Workers of America (IUE-CWA)

Stephen Koslow represented the EnerSys workers in Sumter, SC as IUE's principal attorney in the legal proceedings. Koslow's 30-year legal career includes a 10-year tenure with the National Labor Relations Board and several years at the Department of Justice. He holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia and a L.L.M. from New York University.

Vince Gaillard
Illegally fired EnerSys employee

Vince Gaillard worked as a quality control inspector at EnerSys' Sumter, SC plant for 26 years. After an exemplary work history spanning two decades, Gaillard was fired in June 2001 following his testimony in a case against the company. An outspoken union supporter, Gaillard served as President of IUE Local 175 from 2000 until the plant closing in November 2001. He currently works with the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice as a Residential Specialist.

David Bunker
Former EnerSys employee

David Bunker worked for 23 ½ years as a 1st Stage Grid Caster for EnerSys at the Sumter, SC plant.  When the plant closed in November 2001, Bunker was laid off and unemployed for a year before finding work with a local cabinet company.

David Bonior
American Rights at Work, Board Chair
Professor of Labor Studies, Wayne State University

David Bonior is Chair of American Rights at Work, a new nonprofit advocacy organization dedicated to investigating workers' rights abuses and promoting respect for the right to organize.  He is also a professor of labor studies at Wayne State University. Elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1976, he was the premier advocate for working people on Capitol Hill for over 26 years. When he retired at the end of 2002, he had held the position of Democratic Whip, the second ranking Democrat in the House, for ten years. Bonior serves as a board member of Public Citizen and the Community Central Bank in Mount Clemens, MI.
