Our campaign to expose Elaine Chao just got
kicked into high gear. A very generous donor was
outraged by the Secretary of Labor's record and wants to bring
her misdeeds under more public scrutiny. This donor has announced that he will
DOUBLE every donation made to our campaign between today
and March 31 .
This matching gift couldn't have come at a more
important time. In the past few weeks, whistleblowers
have approached us from within the Department of Labor,
describing an agency in shambles. They've sent us stacks of
documents, but we need more resources to investigate
thoroughly.
We're also pulling out all the stops
and exposing Elaine through every media outlet and advertisement
we can. Please take advantage of this special
opportunity to double your impact on behalf of workers
everywhere who deserve a Department of Labor that works for
them.
Donate today to help us
expose Elaine Chao!

We've done some amazing things together this year. In 2007,
our activists sent more
than 390,000 letters to corporations and lawmakers
demanding that they respect workers' rights. We're going to make
2008 even better, with you behind us.
Only a few
more days to make a gift of $35, $50, $100, or more before 2007
comes to a close.
Look
what happens when your actions and contributions meet our
strategy and drive:
- The House voted
overwhelmingly to pass the
Employee Free Choice Act, and we managed to secure a
historic 51 votes in the
Senate.
- Congress finally
enacted a long-deserved increase
in the minimum wage.
- McDonald’s increased
wages and improved working conditions for the workers who
pick its tomatoes.
Successes like these don't happen by themselves. They
take resources, dedication, strategy, and grassroots pressure.
Your donation today makes them possible. We need your help to go big
in 2008.

When we first exposed the anti-union tactics of
FedEx Ground we never imagined our campaign would catch fire in
the way it has. In less than three weeks, you’ve sent more
than 15,000 letters to FedEx Ground in support
of its drivers’ rights. Our report has received press in
major news outlets. Emails pour in daily.
To wage our most powerful
campaign during what's left of 2007, we need to raise $10,000 in the next 10 days while
the news media are still talking about shopping and
shipping.
Your gift will help us tell drivers' stories far and wide, educate thousands of people, generate grassroots pressure – and force FedEx Ground to clean up its act.
» Contribute now to help us raise $10,000 by December 14.
