Help Us Raise $10,000 for Our Ground Game
Print

b_donatenow_jan19_final.jpg The U.S. economy has fallen and it can't get up.

But wealthy CEOs aren't feeling the pain. They're taking home salaries 364 times bigger than the typical worker's pay - while middle-class families face stagnant wages, soaring healthcare costs, and crushing debt.

So far more than 300,000 of you have stood up and said “enough.” Think about that - 300,000 people in just a few weeks have said they want to even the scales with the Employee Free Choice Act. Now is the time to take our efforts to the next level.

For months we've been laying the groundwork for a major on-the-ground campaign to pass the Employee Free Choice Act. And we're ready to launch, with your help.

We need to raise $10,000 in the next two weeks to hit the ground running. Can you pitch in?

American Rights at Work is leading the charge on the Employee Free Choice Act. We're focusing strategic efforts in key states. We're targeting lawmakers and developing new leaders. We're involving new groups for the first time.

But the other side is already ahead. They're telling the media they plan to spend upwards of $20 million against the Employee Free Choice Act.

Who's funding it all? Corporate interests who don't want to pay a fair wage, provide healthcare for families, or give employees a voice at work.

We can't match their money - but we have real people behind our cause, not just CEOs. And while $10,000 may not seem like much, combined with 300,000 voices it goes a long way.

Your donation will give a voice to America's workers who deserve a fair deal.

With your help, we will wage an aggressive and strategic campaign this year, including:

  • Educating the public in focused campaigns that will lead to real changes for workers and their families.
  • Building a rapid-response system that can quickly address negative and misleading attacks on workers' rights and unions.
  • Mobilizing statewide networks, national nonprofits, policymakers, and new allies.
  • Speaking out in the media with strategies that resulted in almost 100 op-eds and references in the past year alone
